if from work then you need to check with your employer they may be pre-taxing the medical premiums and per the Sec-125 IRS tax code you are not allowed to cancel a health plan through an employer that is pre-taxing premiums in the middle of a plan year.
Unless, you have a qualified change in life i.e. birth, death, divorce, termination of employment (and then you can get COBRA)
Some employers will let it slide, even though they are not supposed to.
If you have purchased it yourself then cancel at anytime and depending on when u paid ur premium u may be entitled to some refund.
